Mixed Media /Embroidery

 

This work is all entirely hand stitched.   Some of the techniques used include: painting, beading, laminating paper to fabric, appliquéing, couching of found objects to the surface, burning, printing, dyeing, plus much else.  Many of these mostly smaller works have been exhibited along with larger pieces.   Work framed by Colleen Brightwell at Kathy's Gallery, Torrance, CA.
